Building Relationships

Oh man, what a night.

Well, to be fair that was a hyperbolic statement. But, you are getting this comic a bit later than you should because of a recent power outage localized to the houses of pissed off cartoonists. Namely, me.

I have to admit, I take this comic very seriously. (I know I shouldn’t – the internet being so full of serious business already) If I’m going to be late with it, I like to warn my (meager) readership. (Of course, I don’t have an official schedule for the strip) If I can’t – I get worked up and guilt starts sloshing over the rim of my Kool-aid pitcher-like head.

By the way, I try to upload new comics on Tuesday and Friday. That’s not a done deal, and is almost certainly going to change when I go back to school in September. However, it is a cartooning school so I plan on maintaining a twice weekly update schedule.

Anyway, enjoy the comic. The next one may not be up by friday – I’m working an extra day this week and the Kinko’s. I’ll get it out as soon as I can, though. Before Sunday. I promise.

Oh, and if you like this comic strip, please vote for me here, and favorite me and leave comments here. Also, leave comments! I long for astute criticism. Bring it.

Love,

Jason

Holy crap, Jason, your comics just keep getting better and better. I love this one and hope soon to be putting out my own original stuff. It’s inspiring and I don’t think you should be so hard on yourself. These are amazing.

I’m curious where the severed piece lands. Or would that be too slapstick?

Nice to see Billy’s hand is recovering enough to use…

  3. Jason says:

Sir, there is no such thing as too much slapstick. However, there is such a thing as “too much to draw.”

  4. Jay Tea says:

I was not complaining, merely speculating about future events.

You DID foreshadow with that “THUD” in the final panel…
