Sooooo, I’m taking the rest of the week off. I know, I know – your life is shattered. I really need a little time off though, and with visitors in our apartment until monday and all the assignments I’m behind on, there’s no better time than the present.
But I won’t leave you hanging dear reader. I give you -
OLD THINGS I DID ALREADY
Believe it or not, I’ve actually been drawing these characters for…crap, ten years now. A lot of the really early material is gone thanks to a basement flood, but I still have a bunch. Today I’ll post a couple of the old covers.

Both of these covers were done using technical pens, which are perfectly lovely for many things, but a bright and lively line is not one of them. Most of the time I was working with them, I would have to draw the shape of the line that I wanted and then fill it in with black. Kind of a pain.
