Raindrops are not teardrops Part 14

This storyline begins here.

Man, I love making a webcomic. The immediacy alone is worth it, and intoxicating. No waiting around to print up a mini-comic, and then trying to find someone who might be interested enough to buy it. No, all you have to do is find a route to usher people past the comic, and if they like it, great. If they don’t , no problem – there’s always someone around the corner who will. And all from the comforts of home. It’s an isolationist’s dream.

Speaking of which, I do get lonely from time to time, so feel free to leave a comment, or even become a fan of Billy on the Facebook. It’s nice to know you guys are out there, and enjoying this thing that I do.

Billy The Dunce strip #39 Playlist:

Back to the Future (I watch it about once a month. The best movie ever to work through.)
Jeeves and Wooster: Season 1, Disc 1
Cave Story (yeah, a video game. I’ve got to take breaks from time to time.)(also, you probably already know this, but Cave Story is not only a free game, it’s a work of art. Brilliant little indie game everyone should play.)

I’m out!

    Jeeves and Wooster is brilliant.

  2. Randall Drew

Cave story is a brilliant game. How do you feel about the upcoming Wii VC launch?

Third panel has a lot going on, but I think you lead our eyes reasonably well.

  3. Sam

    I friggin’ love your work

  4. Gregory

I love this. Been simply will not be flapped.
And, Cave Story. I’ll spare you from my fanboyish squeals. You should play Iji as well, if you haven’t yet. And Knytt.

@ Randall and Gregory: Sadly, I own a Mac – so no Knytt or Iji. Well, I could run parallels or something, but I’m too lazy for that. I lament the loss of quality freeware, but then again, meh. Whatcha gonna do?

I plan on buying the hell out of Cave Story as soon as it hits Wiiware. Pixel deserves our cash.

@ Alec: Yes, Jeeves and Wooster is brilliant. And it’s fun as heck to show to people who only know Hugh Laurie from House. Then again, it’s only half as brilliant as the source material, much as I love Fry and Laurie. Wodehouse is as a god to me.

Yeah, as good as the adaptation is the books are definitely better. And there are so many of them.

For what it’s worth, Knytt runs beautifully under Wine. Not sure that’s less lazy than parallels though.

  7. Jen Vaughn

Really diggin’ Been’s wing patterns. :D That and Billy’s face in panel 3.

  8. Jay Tea

What font is that #4 in panel 2? I can’t quite place it…

And will Shelley be willing to help out that busted foot?

Aww Been is so adorable for a demon from, I’m assuming, hell or some other plane of existence.
So is Billy. He’s adorable for a dunce. ^_^
