Holy cow it’s finally over. Not this week’s first comic (he says ominously), but the semester! No more presentations! A whole month to spend making comics and working part time, without all that pesky learnin’ to get in the way. Well, it’s learnin’ about comics, but still.
And I shall celebrate by growing a magnificent beard.
I’m really sorry that there’ve only been two updates in two weeks. No excuses. But to promise a second comic before this Sunday would be foolish. I could barely muster enough energy to sleep last night, and I still somehow managed to ink half of this thing. So, here’s the deal. I’ll give you a new comic on Tuesday. Sound good? I’m quietly hoping to have another one up on Friday, but seeing as how that would be christmas day, the wife might not like it if that one goes down to the wire. So, two next week, One tuesday, the other by Sunday, and from there on I am going to get ahead if it kills me.
Which leads to the question, what days would you guys like to see updates? When do you like to crack open your fresh, steaming webcomics?
Don’t be strangers,
J

Hi,
Legend has it that the weekends are poo-germs for webcomics, but I’d say the best days are Monday Wednesday and Thursday, in general. The favorite schedule for twice-weekly webcomics is Tuesday-Thursday, but that can be a bit grueling and counter-intuitive. Half of the comics that I look at these days are “when it’s finished” though, so what do I know?
Backstory sense… tingling…
And Been has two bricks. That’s twice the pain, so Gibble better hope she doesn’t get a hinge as well.
As to update times, anything works. Just choose whichever days seem the most practical/easiest. From my experience, weekends are best left free.
Gibble knows what he is talking about, those damn suits take up more energy to turn off and on than to leave the suit on all night. I SLEEP NOW.
Update time doesn’t really matter to me. I look at the comic when it comes up in my feed reader or on twitter.
Yeah, I tend to catch up whenever I think of it as far as my webcomic habits go. But still, we need to pretend the days matter, right?
Dude, don’t sweat it! Get yourself some rest and enjoy your holiday! I like your current schedule pretty well. I usually get around to seeing the comic on Sunday nights as you update it anyway. Good luck giving yourself a buffer. I’m sure you can do it tho, your work ethic is one to be admired my friend!
