Well, not quite losing my mind — but it has been an exceptionally hard couple of weeks. I don’t wish to lay it all out for you — but basically it’s been a difficult little section of my life.
I’m hoping you’ve seen the growth in the strip in the last 10 to 15 strips. Well, it’s hard earned progress, and the level of time and energy I’ve been putting into each week’s updates jumped up and bit me in the butt — leaving me exhausted and unable to focus hard enough to push out my usual duo of comics these last two weeks. On top of this — the cat situation. If you read the update with the last comic, you know.
Just rest assured, more comics are coming. I’m hoping to hit the reset button this week, and update on Tuesday and Friday — which is my ideal schedule. Next week is also spring break, which should help. Unfortunately, the reality is that I create this thing on the edge, and as I get faster, I pour more work into the strip. While this makes the strip improve in look and design quickly, it keeps pushing me away from getting a few comics ahead. But, considering how proud I am of the progress I’ve made so far, I think this works for me. Hopefully it does for you as well.

Take a rest if you need it though. Great work is worth waiting for. As a teacher I’m looking forward to the “summer” break. =)
this is not really a comment on anything. other than I’m terrible at this whole keep in touch thting. All I ever think about is comics and I’m currently putting myself in the poor house trying to read them. Your strip has become a standout of craftmanship and love of the art on the web. And I swear over and over that I don’t mean this as condescending in any way but I’m really proud of what you have done. – having trouble at the coop which is making me drink too much theess last two days. I hate to be a sap but I wish you and I could go to Seattle and scrounge for good comics all day then sit in a bar all afternoon reading with beer and burgers. – hell I should be on the east coast in august – where will you be?
