Falling Forward

And that’s a comic strip, ladies and gentlemen. I know most of you had forgotten how the format worked, what with the massive gap between these last two of them, but rest assured — they do come in four panels each.

In case you were wondering (and also not listening to my constant whining) my thesis project was due this past Monday, You wanna see it?

(I can’t actually hear whether you said yes or not, so go read another webcomic if you said no.)

Here’s how it looked all bundled up – I made this one for flyky, because she dropped everything and moved to Vermont so I could draw children falling into goo. We’re totally even now. Because I drew her some hearts and stars.

She also made a little stuffed tentacle for each one.

And here are the books I had inside. Billy is one, obviously – but I also included a breezy overview of the work I’d done this year, and one book that was a bit more personal.

See? Me as a robot blowing up a clock tower. Totally personal.

Graduation festivities are on Friday and Saturday, but other than those small things…OH, and on Tuesday three of my teachers tell me if I graduate or not..but, other than those two things, it’s a semi normal week this week. I probably won’t get two strips done, but I’ll have a new one up by Thursday, barring horrifying depression induced by utter failure.

Fingers crossed.

Later,

J

  1. flyky says:

hearts & stars = totally even.

  2. Nile says:

Cool, I wish I could peruse all that stuff. Though the book with the red drawing is a little screwed up.

  3. Randall Drew says:

If I can squeak by the thesis committee, you DEFINITELY can my friend. Best of luck!
