Seriously – I drew a freakin’ car! I never draw cars.

Pretty happy about that. Maybe I’ll start drawing cars all the time. Little, boring cars from the early 90′s. I’ll be that guys who draws a really great Geo Metro! Fame and fortune, here I come!

Later,

J.

  1. Nile says:

How many more of these are you going to do? Are you going to do anything else when these are done? I think its pretty impressive that you are doing two comics at once.

  2. admin says:

By the end of the year, it should be 15. It’s only every other week, though, so it’s not too bad, work-wise.

  3. UNSCDF says:

You know, he does have a point. If everything that happens is because of global warming, there’s nothing that can happen that says otherwise. They claim the “everything says I’m right” argument.

  4. admin says:

@UNSCDF: My point with this strip is that neither side can claim any short-term weather event as evidence of climate change. Weather is not climate. She’s deflating his argument by swinging it to the other side to illustrate this. However, from the viewpoint of the science, the destabilization of weather patterns caused by warming can very easily cause colder winters due to melting sea ice disrupting ocean currents and pushing colder jet streams further south. (my summary)

However, I think both sides of the politicized argument are guilty of abusing science and circular arguments in the name of furthering their own causes.
