Covered

No big version of this one. It’s already HUGE, right?

And so it begins.

In lieu of writing some lengthy blog post with this entry (I have no patience right now. It’s been long day fighting with every aspect of my daily routine, from yo-yo’s to brush pens to paper to the cat) I will post a music song that I like right now and makes me happy:

Plus, it’s got some kids in it or something, so it’s sort of on topic.

Feel free to speculate wildly about the subject matter of the new issue in the comments. The more vehemently I deny your theory, the more likely it is to be true.

Later,

J.

Ooh. This is rather beautiful. Here’s hoping Anton has powered his Lovecraftian abomination with the combined souls of Bing Crosby and Billy Idol.

Billy the Dunce Kaiju throw downs!?!?!?! consider me pumped.

  3. Toafan says:

    Wow. Cool. Awesome.
    Giant monster fight! sweet!
You are getting money from me. Somehow. This rocks.

  4. mouseanderson says:

Between the cover art (gorgeous), and the video, hmmm…’50 omage monster vs. an upscale robbie interupted by planet moving children?
Whatever happens, what fun, what fun!
Or as the Bard (or maybe Thomas Bacon) onced said:

  5. mouseanderson says:

P.S.: the cover reminds me of both the great covers of the Gold Key McDucks and strangly enough some of the Early Asterix comics.

  6. Lex Luthor says:

Beak and weird eyes and tentacles? Reminds me of that abomination used in the Watchmen.

Just remember everybody – dessert comes at the end of dinner. Don’t forget to enjoy the ride. And always mix your metaphors.

@Mouse: Happy to remind you of some very lovely comics. It’s fully intentional.
